Founded in 2008, the Tanga Tourism Network Association (TATONA) has the mission to develop tourism that is culturally sensitive, socially responsible and environmentally sustainable. We protect and develop the tourism potential of the natural ecosystems of the land and sea scapes, as well as the built heritage and rich and diverse culture of the people of Tanga Region. Members are tourism service providers, such as hoteliers, tour guides, restaurant owners, transporters and crafts people, as well as residents who share the same mission.
